When Jamie Kern Lima founded IT Cosmetics, she did it with skin-experts to ensure that she had expertise behind her brand. I believe everything you find from IT Cosmetics delivers due to the expertise behind it. But when it comes down to it, it’s things like texture and comfort that really make me decide what I’m going to use that day. Here’s a simple look at our skincare, with tips on what the deciding factors are when I reach for each jar...
THE HOLY GRAIL
My personal favourite from the IT Cosmetics skincare cupboard, I wouldn’t be without Confidence in a Cream. This rich, buttery cream melts so quickly into the skin. I like this for a number of reasons; it’s rich enough to hydrate and is suitable for use twice per day.
THE ONE FOR YOU IF YOU PREFER A GEL FORMULA
I’d really recommend our Confidence in a Gel Lotion as for me it helps my makeup to last longer. This gives my skin such a big drink of hydration which helps my skin to appear moisturised throughout the day. This one is for you if you prefer a gel moisturiser with a lightweight formula.
THE DULL SKIN REMEDY
If I’ve woken up and my skin is looking a little lacklustre, I reach for Confidence in a Rosy Tone. Because I’m very redness prone, I don’t use this every single day as it is enhanced with rosy tone pigments. But for those mornings when I just want fresh skin, this is my go-to.
THE DEDICATED NECK PRODUCTThis intensely rich cream leaves a dewy finish on the skin and smells like a fresh burst of orange. I really recommend it for those looking for a firmer skin feel on the neck and chest area.
THE GLOW GIVER
For super luminous make-up, I love prepping my skin with Secret Sauce. Secret Sauce gives a pearly radiance with each application. Don’t think glitter or shimmer; it’s more of a lit from within glow in my opinion! My skin looks even more dewy when prepping with this.
THE MULTI-TASKER
Now I know this isn’t a moisturiser, but Miracle Water is always in my bathroom. Whether I use it on cotton wool to remove my make-up, warm it between my hands and press it into dry skin or sweep it across clean skin to brighten the complexion, I use it a lot. I love the thought that something removing my make-up is also helping to cleanse and balance the look of my skin.
